This custom outdoor table was created as a deeply personal piece for a client looking to carry a meaningful part of their past into their current home in Sausalito. The tiled surface features ceramic tiles salvaged from the client’s previous residence, preserving a tangible connection to their history while giving the material new life in a contemporary setting.

The table’s form draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape. Gently rounded legs and edges subtly echo the curves and contours of sailboat hulls, a deliberate nod to the home’s waterfront location and the maritime spirit of the area. Blending nostalgia, place, and craftsmanship, the Tide Table serves as both a functional centerpiece and a poetic reflection of continuity and place.
